Ooh its a grey morning. Looking for some fun inspiration to get going on the day? Check out these awesome kids! I must admit, when Natacha contacted me about a session for four cousins, two aged two and two aged four, I was not sure if the studio could handle that much energy. Well, I had an extra cup of coffee and sure enough, had a blast. 🙂
Great session and so happy to photograph these cousins. Hope they brighten your day as they did mine!
G’day mate! Fresh back from putting another shrimp on the barbie in good old Oz. What a fabulous place and a healthy dollop of sunshine to boot. We spent three weeks in Melbourne and most daylight hours in parks, zoo or aquariums. Bababoo and Babatwo had a blast (once recovered from some mean jet lag). Now home and ready to hit the ground running as super busy momma of two.
Took a mini-break from the big camera so holiday photos are courtesy of Instagram and iPhone. 🙂

Kids! Amazing in so many impressive ways. I have to admit, my personal experience is mainly with babies at the moment but I continue to be blown away by kids. The energy, the fun, the always honest approach to life. 🙂 I have recently had the pleasure of working with lots of these awesome kids in the 2 – 6 set. The enclosed is one of my recent favorites. I just sit back and click, they bring the fabulousness.
Back from holiday and back to reality. Its a tad on the soggy side and though we were well intentioned to hit Baboes or the Baby Gym today, instead we played and practiced our colors in the studio. That was when Zoe sparked the fabulous idea of playing in the window. The photographer side of my brain couldn’t resist grabbing my camera. The result was magical. Here is our Friday!
Happily it has been a very busy holiday season with LOTS of gorgeous families, kids and babies in the studio! But what kind of photographer would I be if I did not dress up my own darling for some time in front of the big camera. Its hard to believe she is getting so big. My Christmas angel.

The fun thing about newborn photography is you just never know when those little guys are going to make their debut! Only days after babatwo (finally) arrived, another special delivery came about three weeks early. Sweet Willow joined us in the studio just a week later along with mom, dad and big sister Autumn. One of the happiest little ladies yet, she was a pleasure to work with and a natural in front of the camera. Behold!
The holidays are here. Somehow this year it is a mix of the familiar and the totally new. The year beats a rhythm, and I love to dance. Now the lights, the smells, the cookies, good cheer…all of it feels like a warm hug but somehow I am seeing it now with new eyes. That in fact it is part of a rhythm, a dance, a banner that smooths the ups and downs and somehow brings us closer. As a mother of two amazing babies, wife and world explorer I have turned a new page. Some fear or dislike growing older but feeling now the passage of time, I feel emboldened, more present than ever, loved and loving. I hope this holiday, you take each moment for the gift it is. The ripening of promise and the comfort of familiarity.
Please enjoy these snapshots of a blooming of Christmas cheer. Ho ho!

They say it flies by and this could not be more true. Almost three weeks have passed since the arrival of our darling little man. Weighing in at 4.2 kilos, 55 cm, two dimples and 100% mellow happy little man. We adore him!
Bababoo has been an absolute doll and I am slowly learning how to get two babies and a tired momma out of the house in under two hours. 🙂 Looking forward to this new adventure, happy days and whatever comes next. Hoorah!
Fall is really on us now and I am loving every second of it. Just working through my last sessions before our new little one joins the family. I may have made a mental error in thinking that #2 would make an early appearance, similar to his big sister. This is proven to NOT be the case. Come on little guy!
I love newborn sessions. Tiny babies, so sweet and the new families enjoying the moment. I loved having this beautiful new family in the studio last week. I am happy to share these beautiful pictures with you to brighten your Sunday. Cheers!
